Tim Cockburn
Tim Cockburn was born in 1955. He has worked as a painter and printmaker since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 1978. In 1993 he moved to the harbour town of Pittenweem in Fife. His detailed and lively paintings are populated by a large cast of people performing the many rituals of contemporary life. He is particularly well known for his depictions of Scottish Country dance.
