Jenny Tylden-Wright studied printed textiles at Winchester School of Art, England, and completed a masters degree in printed textiles at the Royal College of Art in London.
She worked as a freelance textile designer for two years before deciding to become an illustrator. Her work has featured on many book jackets, including Hilary Clinton’s book “It Takes a Village”, and most major book publishers have commissioned her. Jenny’s work has also been used for advertising campaigns, art prints and stationery.
Jenny used to work purely with crayon but now she creates a lino cut feeling to her work by scanning a monotone crayon drawing into the computer and then adding and changing colours. Stylised animal, tree, plant and landscape subjects inspire Jenny. She loves lino cut prints and enjoys gardening.
